Setting up lights in warehouse

I have a warehouse where I do my details and currently only has 3 8' shop lights in it. How many lights should I get and whats the best way to place them. The warehouse is about 800 sq ft. and has about 20' high ceilings. Thanks!

I think what you want to do is just keep the area well-lit. White light is better to work with, does not strain your eyes much compared to yellow light. But you need a yellow light on the area you're working on to see the problem areas better.

Yea, I wanted to drop the lights about 10' high, paint all the walls white and put down some gray carpet, but just not sure yet if thats the right approach.

Some Drop beams would do the trick then you can install the lights on the beams. I wouldn't advise having it carpeted if you're going to use it mainly for detailing. It would be troublesome to clean, let alone spilling something on it.
