Shampoo Solution Bucket with HOT Water

I have soft water coming out of the tap. I know YMMV will be different with water, and also shampoo.
Using Reset alot, but am user Hyper Wash on my PPF vehicles.

IMO, in the shampoo bucket, I prefill the bucket about 50% with HOT water, soap and then hose nozzle to sudz/top it up.
I am finding with the warmer water solution, at least with Hyperwash, Suds reminds better in the the bucket if not through the entire wash cycle.

With reset, I'm fine with whatever temp water coming from the hose.

Anyone notice anything similar
 
Slightly off topic but i once seen somewhere that hot warm increases the cleaning power of a chemical up to %50!

I never looked into it afterwards..
 
I just use warm with all soaps including rinsless.

Hot water seems to help the foam from a cannon reservoir also. Can confirm.
 
technically the shampoo bucket is a bit *hotter than warm*, once I use the tap feed from hose to foam up the shampoo.
So the mix is not -hot- in that sense. But anyhow, it's just noticeable enough with Hyperwash for me to post...

I don’t quite understand what you’re saying here.^
 
Suds in bucket/shampoo just remain longer (doesn't flat) when compared to just filling water off the hose (cold water line).
I don't have this issue with Reset

However, in the past couple washes, the car was a bit dirty so I decided to pre-fill the shampoo bucket 1/2 full with Hot Water from the sink before adding soap and then using the hose to *foam* up the shampoo. I've done 3 more washes with the similar hot/cold water filters and it's the suds do not flatten out in the bucket versus if I had used cold water straight.
 
I believe whats going on is the hot water allows the hyper wash to mix in to the water more thoroughly. Hyper wash has a thicker consistency when compared to reset and requires more effort to produce a homogenous mixture.

I'll try using hot water during my next wash and see if I notice a difference.

That same concept applies to P&S Absolute.

In cold water, it tends to congeal and separate. In warm water, you get a more thorough mix that doesn't separate.

Which is why I mix the bucket with a paint mixer stick on a cordless drill. I've always been particular about mixing shampoo in the water and never just used the pressure washer or my hand since that doesn't really fully mix the thicker type of car shampoos.

I add the shampoo at the very end next to my wash mitts and just spray the hose onto it.
