If your referring to carpet shampooing, then get a $100 Bissel unit

I have the $100 unit, works well even on spots around the house. I try not to use any soap in the unit, I use it for rinse and extraction. I'll be testing out cyclo pads on a DA this weekend. I am thinking vac, cyclo and extract.

Get a D/A carpet scrubbing attachment and a Bissel then you'd be set. Pre-soak and scrub then rinse and extract with warm water.

Cheap $100 Bissell and Folex will get the job done on most things

i was looking at the bissel portable one anyways so now im certain. so what i sould do is spray my cleaner then scrub it and use the shampooer to rinse and extract?

Yup. The only chemical I have run though is Folex, which does a great job but might be overkill.

i run folex and water in the tank and extract with that mixture

This is my plan of attack on the interior I have this weekend. I am going to pretreat with Detailer carpet extractor precleaner, a few spritzs of water, hit it with my da polisher with carpet pad and extract with Folex in my tank.

If you plan on shampooing on a professional level get a mytee lite hot water extractor!! This machine will make shampooing so easy!! If you have heavy soiled and stained carpets i use my vapor steamer first then extractor the dirt!!
