Shelf Life Of ONR Once Mixed?

I save leftover, clean ONRWW solution from a no rinse wash and use it as a pre-spray. I also have some ONR mixed at detail strength, which doesn't get used that often. What's the shelf life of either solution when mixed with RO water and stored in the house? There was a recent post that suggested that once mixed the solution will break down in 3 days, but that doesn't seem accurate to me.

Thanks.

I have had premixed bottles of stuff well over two years, UWW+, and similar, not issues after all that time.

The color in ONR will dissipate over time due to light exposure. I use distilled water, which significantly slows the color change but, from my understanding, the ONR is still fine for quite some time.

My mixture of ONR at QD strength hasn't changed colors or effectiveness.
Had this mixture sitting in the garage for over a year now.
BTW... still maintained its lovely smell as well :)

Thanks to all 3 of you.

I found an older post on the Optimum forum that said mold can be a problem as the solution gets older. I don't know if that still applies to the current formula or not, but maybe Chris from Optimum will this see and reply.

I have some in a bucket with a lid on it I've been using for a few weeks. I've washed 6 cars with it the first 2 days it was mixed. It's beginning to get a little low. Only clean towels go in the solution. No mold as of now. It's nice a cool. I was thinking of dumping it. It will be interesting to hear what Chris has to say.

I received these replies from Chris Thomas:

"If you control the environment, it should last until you use it. Use distilled water and keep the container sealed and it will work until you see mold in it or it smells like sour water."

I also asked about using RO water instead of distilled, and whether it would be less effective:

"Filtered water should be fine. Mold grows from microbes introduced or already in the solution so just control what contacts it."

Thanks, Chris!
