Has anyone else from canada ordered stuff off here? It's been 3 weeks now and my stuff is still in transit.. Just curious as to how long it has taken others peoples stuff to get to canada or atleast to customs

Do you have a tracking # ! Which carrier s it s shipped by .( FedEx , UPS )

Sometimes it can take forever . Is that the 1st time that AG ships to you fella ! I would call Autogeek in order to know what s happenning with your order .

i usually get my order within 8 days of ordering and yes tracking #. im north of gta.

Sent from my SGH-I727R using AG Online

If the customs truck is really glossy then you know what the hold up was

Usually its 7-10 days unless Customs fell in love with your order, PM me your order number and I will put a tracer on it.

i'm near ottawa (if you know where petawawa is)

Yes i do have an order number and i will pm it.

Also no this is my first order (even my guitar amp i ordered from the states 2 years ago took 2 weeks which ain't bad)

And it was shipped USPS from what it says.

When using the checkout i chose "canada" for the shipping method? I'm assuming that is the only one i could choose? Maybe i should have chose a diff method?

It s weird , but once I mailed a letter to the States & it took almost 4 weeks to get over , sometimes , sh!t happens .

I guess so eh. Nothing against autogeek but i'll probably order from eshine now just due to shipping. They are only about 6 hours from me and it would be faster

I believe Eshine gets all, or most of their supplies from AutoGeek anyways. If they don't have something in stock that AutoGeek does, they will order it for you. I usually like ordering from them, but it seems they always run out of the good stuff, so I end up getting my AutoGeek orders shipped to the boarder and then picking it up from there. Usually don't have to wait more than a week.

CANADA SHIPPING is through the gov't pony express shipping. USPS seems to do a good job of getting stuff to the boarder, but once Canada Post gets there hands on it, watch out!!! Canada Post is really consistent at getting packages to their destinations as slowly as they can. All my stuff is 2-3 weeks easy.

When I order from Autogeek it usually takes a solid 2 weeks to get here. I am in Montréal btw.

So if there was a Holiday or any special event or problem I can see it going to 3 weeks.

If you want to speed things up, there is a company called Trimex that you can ship your orders to and then just cross the border yourself to pick it up. They charge 3$ per box.
I have not used them yet but I plan to. I have a friend who uses them all the time and he really likes their service. Here is the website: Trimex Warehousing and Distribution, Inc.

Also since it's a US adress you can now take advantage of the free shipping deals that Autogeek have from time to time. 150-200$ off from shipping on big orders easilly covers the inconveniance of having to drive to the border and back ;)

I am not so sure that is the issue. I order stuff from Canadian companies that use Canada post and it's usually either as fast or faster than courrier services likes UPS or Fedex. I think the issue is to have the package checked for duty. It adds a few days.
So for example when you order from Autogeek it will take a day or 2 to ship usually, then USPS has to send it across the states to Canada that will take several days, let's say 4 or 5. Then it has to sit a the border for duty check and they are pretty slow at doing it I will guess at least 3 days there. Then Canada Post has to bring it to you which takes 3-5 days.... So a solid 2 weeks or more.

People from the Montreal area can have there stuff shipped to Freeport Forwarding also , just off I-87 in Champlain NY .

I pick my items up State side. Once you receive your tracking number it's normally 3 business days for the arrival to Northern N.Y
Your items must be waiting in a warehouse until a customs broker completes the paper work. The truck carrying your items won't be at the border for longer then a few hours. By the way you pay extra for the customs broker.
Do you get a discount with Canada post if you work for DND?

I'm hoping i get a discont cause i'm joining the forces in the coming months but i'm not 100% sure.

But as of right now i'm giving autogeek A++ on there customer service. Wasn't expecting them to actually track it down for me.

Thank you for all the inquiries from everyone. If i have any further questions i know where to come!

Another good option for getting stuff shipped from the US is Package Express. They charge a couple bucks to forward your package plus the USPS cost. Good option if the supplier ships ups/fedex (avoid big brokerage fees) or not to Canada.
