Hey guys,

So a customer brought his Jeep in today for full paintwork correction. Different sections of his car have been sprayed by crappy body shops and the result was crazy scratches and VERY deep orange peel.

Instead of wet sanding I decided to give the CarPro Denim pads a shot and damn! I was shocked with the result after just a few passes on my Rupes with FG 400.

Nice!

Ok, so I would consider the first pic to be RAW and the 2nd, the DETAIL !!! Im the MAN

Man that came out really nice! What speed did you have the rupes set at?

I sure wish I could do that to my truck (darn Ford orange peel), but I am not taking a chance with factory clear. If I ever have to repray, I will definitely try those denim pads!

Thanks for the show and tell!

Wow, that is fantastic results for that pad on a Rupes. I was a little concerned that the insane throw of the Rupes would actually hurt the point of that pad. I thought it needed much more focus. Looks great, I can't wait to try my pads out on the Rupes now.

Now that's flawless, and crystal clear..keep up the good work

Thanks guys. I will say this though. After completing the entire hood I spent about 15mins looking at it under tons of different lighting and if I looked extremely hard I found tiny signs of haloing, so I went over it with 2 passes with the Meg's MF pad and it was crystal clear.

Another thing to note, you need LOTS of these pads. They gunk up REAL quick even with agitation with a nylon brush after each pass. I used 3 pads alone just on the hood.

Overall they are cheap pads, work AMAZINGLY well and no need for wet sanding. :)
