My kids got me a present for fathers day.... A new Craftman shopvac. I thought I would share because I am so pleased with it. What makes it different from your typical vac is that it hangs on the wall of the garage. Also, it has 18 feet of plug wire!!! Not only that, but it has 21 feet of hose!! Here are some pics of what it looks like:
Here is the bracket that you hang it on the wall with. Very easy install, just 5 screws.
The hose wraps around the top of the bracket. There are also notches in it, to hold the hose in place. There is also a tray on the bottom to hold all the attachments.
Here is a pic of the vac with all the accessories it comes with. It has 21 feet of hose, as I said that comes in 2 sections, a 14 and 7 foot piece.
I have to say that I am very impressed with the power of this vac. I of course installed it today and had to use it right away. It was fun to use and has a ton of power. There was no need to unplug the unit and move it around the car. A real time saver.
The only draw back is the cost. Regular price is about 99 bucks, which is a little high for a shop vac in my opinion. Overall, I would give this an 8 out of 10.
