I will keep the writing brief since there is plenty threads on the new DP products, but picture-by-picture I will try to describe the product or process. Enjoy and please ask questions.

The car is my wife’s 2013 CRV it was wearing Gtechniq C2 that was applied 3 month ago. Yesterday I washed the car and striped the LSP with citrus wash. The bugs and road grime where taken care of with the new DP Road Kill. Today before applying the DP coating prep (with DA speed 4 green pad) I washed the car again with Megs D114 rinseless to remove any dust that accumulated overnight.

After the paint prep applying the coating was fool proof, I used a yellow foam applicator and wiped down high spots with the mf applicator; followed the directions in Mikes thread.

The finish came out great, with a deep glassy looking finish. Here some reflections shots of the car in the garage. The wheels were cleaned with UWW+ and tires coated DP tire gel. The windows were cleaned with the new DP window cleaner, the window cleaner is good but wont be replacing my Pinnacle window cleaner anytime soon. Also the nozzle on the DP does make a bit of a mess.

After keeping the car in the garage for 8 hours, it was time to move the Acura back in before it starts to rain.

For people who used this, how long did you let it cure and did you top with a nuba?

I let it cure 24hrs before I applied another coat. I did not top it with a Nuba or sealant on any car I've used it on. I didn't see the point to do it right away, maybe a few months from now to see how it works but still unsure if I will ever top it. :xyxthumbs:

Both of your cars look amazing! :dblthumb2:

Thanks for the review! :props:

Its been a month since I applied and car still looks great, I think I am going to hold off on the nuba for now.

The DP does a great job of deterring dust and dirt.

Tips for using Detailer's Paint Coating

Here's my article on coating wheels... in this article I only apply the coating to the back of the wheel but since they are painted with the same paint as the front of the wheel the application method is the same.

Question on the coating..... Are there any rinseless washes that do not play well with dp coating.

Rinseless washes should not interfere with any aspect of a coating. Unless you are talking about before applying the coating..

Also this is $29.99 for the cyber deals... worth every penny of that.
