These are some of the worst "before" conditions. Most were easy to average on a difficulty scale except the Corvette, which holds the record by far.

Very good, one can do an incredible job polishing paint, but the detailing work will never be complete until you do this night and day transformation to the headlamps.

Congratulations on your results, and thanks for sharing!

Kind Regards.

Nice, would you mind sharing your methods/products? Nathan

It's probably some low grit wet-sanding (like 400-600) refining through 2500-3000 at least, followed by either a plastic polish or even paint compound / polish, I also suspect it has a finishing polish step before sealing with (Opti-Lens, I risk saying) at the end.

Right?

Sorry if I'm wrong, it was nice trying to guess.

Kind Regards.

Pretty much.... but I do it with lots of love.

The toughest headlights that I've ever sanded and polished were on a Audi TT. Had to drop down to 400 grit to remove the factory coating. Took a long time refine the finish.

Great job on these headlights.

Does opti-lens really prevent it from clouding up again?

Nice work! My worst set was on a MK4 Golf. They were so rough before i started that, I brushed the back of my hand against one of them, and scraped my knuckle. They took 400 grit to get smooth and remove the factory coating.

I have yet to do a Golf but have done several Jetta's and they're the fastest to refinish.

It is very durable, but like any other coating, upkeep will prolong the results. I have a neighbor's Jeep I did some time ago and they still look good.
