Sign-up: 2013 Jazz Blue Charger - Extreme Makeover!


This project will take place on Thursday, November 14th, starting at 5:00pm


I try to showcase a good mix of classics, antiques, streetrods and modern luxury cars as well as modern muscle cars. Here's an example of a modern muscle car.

Our goal is to get the paint as clear as possible so the color is true and accurate and the metallic flake pops like you see in this Dodge Advertizing Promo Pictures...

The above car is not the actual car just a great picture to showcase the aggressive body styling and beautiful color which I think has pearl in the clearcoat.

The owner told me the car has a lot of dealer installed swirls so it needs a visit to Autogeek's Show Car Garage to go through our show car paint polishing process.

I really appreciate the great opportunity to get some hands-on experience since I'm fairly new to detailing. Also, I consider it a great privilege and opportunity to work along side and learn from one of the best in the business.
 
Hood is similar to my 300, those bulges and the doors were rough with my Rupes, I actually switched to my GG for those smaller spaces.
 
I'm in, Actually I will be bringing the car and any extra's suggested by Mike. Thanks for the opportunity to get this done right and learn in the process!

I will be sending Mike pictures of the issue this Friday so you all can have a look at it before hand, and after :)

I need to get down to one of these...
2 hours is a long drive on a weeknight with work and all, but I need to make that happen at some point :-)

By the way... we'll be using some BRAND NEW PRODUCTS that have NOT been announced yet but will have been announced at SEMA and available after SEMA.


We're also using these products this Thursday night...

Keep in mind this muscle car project will be taking place AFTER SEMA so I'm going to have some pretty cool things for everyone to test out.

You'll have read about it in the blogosphere but anyone attending this class at Autogeek's Show Car Garage will be the first in the nation to get their hands on the goodies...

I told you I would have some cool "things" for everyone to test out at the first Thursday night project car here at Autogeek when we returned from SEMA and here's the "things"....


New Rupes Duetto and Rupes Mini Polishers vs Prototypes

We have the production units and the prototypes for the new Rupes Mini 12 and the new Rupes Duetto 12 orbital polishers.


Be here and be some of the first people in the world to use these cool new tools...

Spinz, I am hardly a pro, but looking forward to learning. After doing some serious research I don't think I could have found a better place to pick up a new skill set and make it more then a hobby. If your near by join us, I'm buying dinner.:hungry:
