After prepping Marilyn last week... it's Tori's turn. I love the drastic differences between silver and any other dark color. For a daily driver, just can't beat it. Washed with Pinnacle and ONR, dried with V7. Coated with Jetseal, then 2 coats of 845 the first weekend. The next weekend, coated with a final coat of 845. Lower rocker panels, and lower rear bumper Opticoated. Clearbra sealed with BFWD. Rims Opticoated. Tires dressed with Z16. It's ready for winter.

* I still have my summer rims on... still too warm to switch out to my winter rims, although they are Opticoated already. :) *

Thank you! Yes, for the winter, I actually prefer 845 over any sealant. It seems to last longer. I know I can opticoat the entire car, but I chose not to. I enjoy detailing, particularly applying LSP's on my cars. So I just OC'd the certain spots that I know will see a LOT of winter abuse. I can't wait to see how my OC'd winter rims hold up.

I really like those wheels!

thank you sir. The rims are 2 tone, silver with dark graphite, which I love. It goes with the "special edition" goodies quite well imo.

Looks awesome.:props:

I don't understand why some people say silver can't be beautiful, its one of my favorite colors.

So you decided to keep the OEM rims for summer then?

Time and time again I come back to 845. It does something really nice to white. I use it year round. I've thought about trying something different, but the ease of use, durability, and look are all very good. A well rounded product!

maybe i missed it in here...did you NOThit the entire car with this procedure above and leave the lower rocker panels, and lower rear bumper without any protection ready for OC, or did you OC the Lower rocker panels, and lower rear bumper on top of the Jetseal and 845...im confused:dunno:...which is easy to do...

thanks Chris! yes, I am loving silver for my daily driver. With all the stress in my life of work and kids and keeping Marilyn all cleaned up, having Tori be a 'little' less finnicky is a plus :)

Yes, I decided to keep the OEMs as summer. I figured I'd get another nice summer set, maybe... for now, the OEMs are awesome on their own.

p.s. I completed my Borla install today. Will post vids in chat section tonight or tomorrow.

Nice ride.
I love my TL

How long did it take to wax that acura?

I call this bullet proof!! :props:

thanks guys... I appreciate it.

First I taped off the the lower rocker panels and lower rear bumper. Then I buffed it out then used ARO to make sure it was free from any LSP. Then I proceeded to OC those specific areas. The rest of the got the regular buff/correction earlier this summer, then sealants and nubas.

What's ARO?
