I just got a used work truck and the vinyl floor has an oily gloss and is very slippery. I tried a basic degreaser, dawn, but it is still slippery. Is there something I need to do or a product I need to use? Thank you.

I had a similar think happen to me. I finally used comet powder cleanser & rubbed with a small cotton towel & a brush, rinsed it off with hot water & cleaned it again a couple of times; that worked. If you're gonna put some floor mats in, you may have to use some double sided backing tape to hold them in place if the grease doesn't come clean, unless the mats fit tightly.

Freaking hack detailer put some armor all stuff on your floor. Ugh.

All Purpose Cleaner? Maybe you can try that. Alcohol.

If it was detailed, then likely true that some hack put a solvent based dressing somewhere it shouldn't be.

Tarminator or another strong solvent/tar remover along with end-of-life rags you don't mind tossing out. If the towels aren't enough, get a carpet brush with short stiff bristles to further agitate. Took me 3 applications to get years of weekly solvent dressing applications off some tires this past weekend, but it does come off.

Well maybe not detailed huh. Maybe the previous owner did it for the quick sale.

Thank you all. It was detailed by the car garage. It is lots of fun to get in because has weathertec floor mats. You step on it and it is like the the cartoon with the banana peel.

I'd try some "Bar Keepers Friend" That stuff will scrub the face off Mt. Rushmore to make it look like polished glass, so be careful, but, it works.
Try it on a pitted windshield, works wonders, but, be sure to get as little as possible on your paint and rinse immediately from the body panels, even the wiper parts.
