Small problem on my Ultimate Guzzler

I have some stuff sticking out on my Ultimate Guzzler, and it's pretty stiff to the touch. I'm scared that it will scratch the paint. Anybody know what this is?

i wouldnt trust it, but i cant tell what it is....if its stiff i would probably not use that towel
 
Looks like a snag. It gets stiff from all the fibers being drawn together.

Have you used it or did it just come like this?

You can wash it and the heated water will usually pull it back in.

Cold water has that effect on me............LOL!
 
I used it. I washed it in warm water, and when i was looking at the towel i noticed THAT sticking out :(. Should I wash it in hot water then?
 
mine looks the same way i have the smaller version and mine isnt very soft at all, i havent used it yet but it just doesnt seem soft to me comapared to my other micro fiber towels.

so justin, I should just wash it in hot water and it should come back to normal?
 
well I just washed it in hot water and it's still there. Maybe I should snip it off.
 
welp i just snipped it right off and it seems ok now :p

It's not supposed to be AS soft as other MF's. It's drawn together to soak up water, while not scratching the surface. What other drying "device" is as soft?

It would take 10+ MF's to equal what a guzzler can do. I hope you didn't expect it to be as soft as your other MF's.

It's not made to polish, wax, or clean anything. Just dry.
 
Mine has a few snags on it already from the Guzzler getting caught in the emblems on my truck. Not sure if it needs snipping off!
