I just bought a 2012 F150 with 10K miles that has been smoked in, evidently heavily.
I just bought it last night and after doing some studying here it seems to me I would be much better off just getting someone to do the interior work rather than buying an extractor and an ozone generator.
If there is someone on the site in South Florida, who is a member here and has the tools and chemicals to clean it up and not smell like a chemical experiment I would like to talk with you and have you do the work.
Please email or PM me.

I left it open overnight, this weekend it will get APC and Invisible Glass,
I have some DP Upholstery Cleaner but I don't want to muck it up, It has cloth seats and a cloth headliner.
I have the Einszet Klima-Cleaner in my AG cart and the Dakota stuff.

And Stripper scent..LOL

Good start. You can wipe down your headliner with APC, just spray on a towel and wipe it down, dont wet it. The stripper scent is nice but does not last long. Also replace your cabin air filter.

I've used a thing called Odor Genie in the car. Got it at Wally-world for around 3 bucks. Don't think it eliminates smoke odor completely, but it might help. Non-smokers said they didn't know the car had been smoked in, but they may have been being polite.

It's a round silver-colored plastic thing about the size of a smoke detector, and it absorbs odors. For what it costs, it might be worth a try. I think it lasts for a month so.

I have used and enjoy CG So Fast Odor and Bacteria Eliminator, I haven't used it on smoke smell, but I have used it on old milk odor, dogs and cats and has done greta eliminating those odors.

Buy a small can of coffee, leave it in the car closed up overnight. I hear that works well.

Until you find a good product or get your order in, if you do order, put two bowls of vinegar in the truck every night. It will absorb some of those odors until you get an odor bomb etc.

Did you notice it before putting down your money? Maybe the dealer can help with the cost of this?

After cleaning ALL the interior surfaces including the air vents and AC ducting find someone near you that has an Ozone Generator.

I bought a cheap one off of E-bay and it works wonders.

The two worst smells that I have been asked to get rid of were baby vomit and a quart of spilled milk. Naturally, this was during the hottest part of the summer and those stinks were PERMANENT!

But after a good interior cleaning and carpet extraction the Ozone Generator got every last bit of smell. And this rolling sewage treatment plant needed extra attention. I had to put a battery charger on it's battery and leave the fan running on recirculate while the Ozone generator was on, and for the following six hours.

But the real test was to give it a good sniff a week later. After she had it parked outside during the hottest month we have had so far. Didn't smell like a new car, but it didn't smell like rotten milk and baby barf.

I think I'll give it a shot of "stripper scent" while she isn't looking.

I noticed and discounted the purchase price accordingly Im the MAN

Last night just for S&G I dusted the seats and the carpet with good ol' baking soda, left the windows cracked and this morning it "might" have been a little better.
I used the truck today and left the baking soda spread out and just set in it. So yes my butt was arm and hammer fresh all day!
By the end of the day it is improved but far from gone.
I will go at it this weekend with apc and I some Griots interior cleaner I found at a local auto store.
I just found out one of my clients has access to both a steam cleaner and an ozone generator.
