... and I thought I'd share some pics and a video (GT500 at the end) with you, seeing as many of us on here are car nuts. The Career Fair is tomorrow so other companies are out as well. Chrysler had some cars out, GM was doing ride and drives, and Mercury Marine was doing boat rides.

Anyways, Ford had 2013 F150's, 2013 Flex, Explorer, Focus, GT500, Lincoln MKT, Taurus SHO, Escape, Mustang, and a couple 2012's.

Warning: The following pictures contain some swirls and a dirty Raptor.

These were all taken with my phone.

Dark green Lariat with Ecoboost.

Terrain color SVT Raptor with bead locks. Gotta tell you, this color is awesome in person. :xyxthumbs:

These wheels are capable of being true bead locks with a kit from Ford Racing.

... and a video of the GT500 start-up and rev. The kid that walked in front of the camera actually jumped a little. What the guy says at 55secs is pretty accurate.

(Click the image). Best viewed with headphones or exceptional speakers.

Boy Chris, those are some fine examples especially that gorgeous Mustang GT500....

I must say, Ford is ahead of the game, vs the other American manufactures.

2013 F150 looks great
new shelby looks like for the price and specs, it beats a lambo
The flex , could use more united states styling,

I hope Ford will build a vehicle with a classic body styling like a 1st model crow victoria or some other car in the future

Lincolns are looking good too

Those tail lights just make me sick!! Yuk. Other than that its a DROOOL all the way for me. I prefer the 2005-2009 Body style Stangs (if I were ever to like horse ####) Being a Camaro/Firebird fan at heart.

Gorgeous doesn't even describe it for me, I'm in love.

Couldn't agree more Jomax.:props:

I would take this new Shelby over a Lambo any day. I would take a Shelby 1000 S/C over a Bugatti too.

I agree about the Flex, the 2013 is kind of weird looking. The Flex has always been, so to say, "out of the box" since day one though.

I disagree, I think this is one of the sexiest rear ends out there right now. To each their own though.:xyxthumbs:

It all started with the 2003 cobra. That is why ford code named it the terminator hehe. I can easily afford a 2013 GT500, but im a terminator guy at heart. I also have a soft spot for the fox body. 05 and up, I can't do it

Looks like the Explorer can no longer go exploring(except for mall parking lots). That ground clearance is atrocious! My altima has more front bumper clearance than that.

I completely agree with you. Going purely off looks alone, I would take a 2003-2004 Cobra over any other mustang available(including GT500 and Roush). The new ones are nice, but they don't do much for me.

Don't get the sport package if you'll go exploring.

Not a fan of the new rear taillamps either, to glossy and look very aftermarket.

Funny though, I was never a Dodge guy but these last couple months and the Challenger is really growing on me. Just need to drop it a bit.

The Camaro (I am a GM guy) is good looking in the ZL1 dress but the others are missing something too.

If your busy school schedule would only allow...

-This would have been an excellent opportunity to inform the powers-that-be that
you are a: >>>>"Detailer par excellence"<<<<(See below P/E)...

-With tree-sap removal being just one area of your expertise.

That green on the truck is nice, don't know why green went away for a while on cars but its trying to make a comeback, I've seen a dark green on the Explorer that looks stunning!

The lettering on that Explorer reminds me of a Land Rover and that EcoBoost will really help that thing get down the road....when the need arrives! Love the Mustang too, ofcoarse!!

That picture is deceiving. The car was also pointed down, not level. The lower valance can be removed with a couple bolts I believe for any serious offroading, just like with the F150. It's all about aerodynamics.

I don't know too many people that would do this. Well, except for may be my dad.

I don't quite care for the lettering. I would remove it as soon as I pulled into the driveway.

IMO that wood trim in the F150 looks horrible! I do like how they now offer HID lighing forit though...I had to retro fit my HID's for my 2010. I hate detailing the roof and hood on my truck!!!

You're not the only one about the wood trim. It was worse in previous years, very light colored.

I hate doing the roof on mine also, and I'm not even lifted. Awesome truck BTW.:props:

I'm not a big fan of the 2013 GT500 rear end, although, it does look a whole lot better with a stripe delete. It's too busy otherwise.

And you can't really knock the power output of the '13 vs. the Termis. The shop I spend too much time at just did a blower swap (plus supporting mods) on a '13 and netted 860 rwhp. I realize it's on a 10 year newer car, but 860 is still ridiculous.

the 2013 GT500 is a great car and way better than the 2003 cobra. I just prefer my 03 cobra. It feel's more of a muscle car because of the platform and the looks are just killer.

The new shelby does have a 5.8 vs my 4.6. Plus it has 9.5.1 compression as opposed to 8.5.1. mY 4.6 though can handle 1000hp. It has everything forged. better components than the new GT500. so yea it will make 860rwhp with a blower swap and make more power on pump gas.

You also have to remember a lot of the terminator guys ( I hate the word termi ) still use superchargers with the stock inlet. Once you go over to a kenne bell mammoth and whipple crusher kit, you are going to free up 60-80rwhp than the basic kenne bell or whipple kit. The non mammoth and regular whipples are still using small inlets.

My friend aj installed a 2.8H mammoth on his 2004 cobra and through the automatic, he made 744rwhp. so that is close to 800rwhp through the factory 6 speed that he took out.

so a 4.6 motor making 800rwhp with a little 2.8H kb is damn impressive.

My car, stock motor, stock cams, stock heads, stock transmission, literally untouched motor, measely little 4.6, makes 710rwhp 650rwtq with a 2.9 standard whipple. Not the crusher. If I add the crusher it will make north of 800rwhp stock motor and last.

There are 2003 2004 cobra's with 100,xxx miles with twinscrews still running 10.40's 10.20's in the quarter mile. 100,xxx miles!!! stock motor.

The terminator is a street brawler and will go down in history as it was the car that started the horsepower wars. so I thank ford for making a killer car back in 2002 that ended the debate and kill the competition at its time.

i am not taking anything away from the 13 cobra. I love it. ok im done hahaha. LS WHAT!!!! hehe sorry gm boys

I'm not trying to take away credit for the Terminators either, those are the Cobra's that did it for me. The power they put out with simplest of mods is unreal, and add to the fact that they can handle it.

I would be very proud to have one in the future.:xyxthumbs:
