I am starting my shop up the beginning of January here in NE. I am considering Chemical guys v-series to be one of my main products, tied in with the Meguiar's Professional series.

Currently I use 3M Perfect-it 3 step kit, and it gives me very good results, but is there anything better? I have used Meguiar's pro series and it works a lot easier than 3M, takes less time. Haven't tested chemical guys yet.

Nothing special IMO, I like menzerna products better... Will not buy chemical guys again... Just don't find there products to be that great...

I have used the V Series from Chemical Guys, was not impressed. I use a lot of Meguiars & Menzerna compounds/polishes.

I bought v36 and v38, 36 has very little cut but leaves a good shine, 38 imo is an excellent lsp

Chemical guys does give a higher gloss, cutting so so. for my polishes I carry menzerna. For my money, I dont think I will go for chemical guys for polishes. LSP yes... I like to give my customer durability for LSP.

I can't definitely say which one is the best because there is so many products out there. At the moment I prefer Menzerna cause it finishes well but its a real pain in the bum to buff off the residue.

the only few products i might consider purchase again from CG will be...
allclean+
wash & gloss
wonder wash
my impression was they fairly work and great scent :D

You already provided an answer to that question:
I have used Meguiar's pro series and it works a lot easier than 3M, takes less time.

Haven't tested chemical guys yet.
For proven performance:
I'd just stick with the Meguiar's pro series:

Chemical guys is good but not great I was sold on the results from watching videos but when I used them on my car not even near close as the results I wanted. But! I like a few of their products v4 extreme all in one is actually a polish that works. I have tried the entire vline including v32 which is suppose to be their highest cut but sucks compared to menzerna FG400 but I agree v38 is a nice polish but I'd go with v4 extreme all in one polish sealant
