I have recently bought the black and yellow Meguiar's Soft Buff 2.0 pads. Which one do I use for compounding, and polishing? Which one for AIO products? Which one for cleaner waxes, and LSPs? Thanks in advance.

Their really is no perfect answer on this as you can switch out your pad depending upon how much cut or polishing you may need.

Mike is 100% right. But if you must know, the yellow is labeled as polishing and black is finishing. Burgundy is cutting but Meguiar's doesn't officially recommend it on a DA as it may leave hazing that may make some people start to panic. But that haze would be removable with further refinement.

If using a DA the yellow and black is all you need for great results providing your using good products.

Using the yellow pad along with Wolfgang Uber Compound will give you stunning results, even on the worst paints:)

the yellow polishing pad works well with both aio's & polishes/compounds. i wish meg's would come out with it in the 5.5" size, i would be all over them. it's a versatile pad that can do quite a bit with different compounds/polishes/aio's. they've used that pad, g110v2 and ultimate compound with excellent results at their saturdays classes at the megs hq's for years. when in doubt, do a test spot...
