Solution finish help!

I applied solution finish yesterday for the first time to my trim and today there are some spots that are sticky. I assume went to thick. What should I do to smooth this out? My prep was APC followed by a is wipe. I appreciate any help

Did you take it off after you were done? I don't always, but that's the recommendation. I also don't put it on too thick so it's usually not an issue.

No I just tried to even it out as best I could and I thought was good. Back story is I was in a use it or lose it situation because I dropped the bottle out of my cabinet and the bottom cracked open. Black dye everywhere.

If you don't have more SF to level it out..it will dry in a few days.
