Saw this in the What's New section and it sounds pretty interesting. Seems like it might be a dye since it will stain cloths and unsealed paint. Seems expensive but if you don't use much it might work out just fine.

Nick what can you share with us about this product?

I was thinking more along the lines of GTechniq C4, but I don't think that stuff stains paint or clothing....

Looks like a dye. Which is perfect because I need some dye for my girlfriends trim on her Soul.

Has anyone used this stuff?

I think Adam has some. Still waiting on his feedback. Price seems a bit much for a dye if that's what it is.

If you just want a dye look into Showroom New. Ive used it several times on different cars and it works great. Once it's fully cured and dry I topped with UTTG. If you don't wait long enough it will cause streaking when you apply UTTG.

If I needed to place an order I might pick up the small bottle to try. If it is dye and something else like Cqartz or GTechniq mixed together it might be good. That is if it only requires a small amount to do a whole car.

I rather pick up some gtechic.. at least, I know this stuff works.

Thanks!

I will try that out.

I have been trying to get my hands on some Refinish Restore, but no luck so far.

Hey guys. New to the forum but detailing a long time. I've been using this product for my clients and local dealerships for a few months and the results are great. I have some before and after shots on my website and on Facebook. Take a look if u get a chance and ask me any questions about this! Thx guys.

This is gonna have to be really good for me to pay 30$ for an ounce. It seems really pricey. I'd rather dish out some money for the gtechniq stuff because we know it works. I'm going to need to see some reviews/longevity tests before i pull the trigger on this one.

The long term research claims that it lasts as if u put a new part on ur car. So however long the piece took to fade out in the in the first place. This product bonds at a molecular level to the plastic and is not a dye. That's what gives it the hefty price tag and makes it last so long.

You sure it doesn't have some dye in it? C4 is not a dye but from what a friend told me when he purchased this it did have dye in it.

I don't really care if it has dye in it, as long as it lasts. If a product lasts for a long time, I'm totally fine with paying a bit more up front.

This stuff looks interesting. My wife drive's a 98 Subaru Outback with 225k (she loves it and doesn't want a new(er) car). I hate how faded the bumpers and door handles look. I might have to give this a try. Do you think I can get an entire car done with one bottle?

Absolutely. Buy the 1oz and you'll have left over for maybe 2more cars.

This product hasn't had a chance to grow yet so of course there is skepticism. I am randomly going into dealers to demo this and the guys there don't really seem to care or give me the time of day however, the ones that do see this in action can't believe it. I do part of a bumper and give them my card. No pressure. I come back in a week or so to key them tell me how the product held up. It's a no brainier for them after a week or more of uv rays, lot washes, and changing outdoor elements.

If u need pics I've got plenty. I even have videos posted.
