Orange Crush 250 ml by DoDo Juice

Normally I write a decent amount in my reviews, however for this one I was able to take some better pictures, and needless to say they speak for themselves, this is an awesome product, ease of use is great, easy on easy off, fast cure time, not 8 hours like some products ahem.. , but seriously I'm a believer in the juice now, a little went a long way, I even finger waxed, yeah I applied the wax with my bare fingers, 2-3 fingers usually, I enjoyed every aspect of this product, from the container, smell, ease of use, performance, the enhanced reflection, it was just great across the board..
9.5/10 because there's always room for improvement!
Only thing I haven't had a chance to test is durability but I'm sure it will be good.

I really like that last picture. Have you ever waxed with your bare fingers before? How was the feeling?

yeah that picture came out great, unfortunately every picture I've taken has been with an iphone, I applied this wax via finger and its great if you have time to spare, its definitely a bonding experience lol, but if you're in a rush it ruins it ( I was fighting sunlight the first day and lost ) however the beginning of that day and the second day were great
Lol hard to describe, a bit of a learning curve for maximum efficiency with it, but its nice, feels right!

I really enjoy applying this with my hands. Like finger painting as a kid, it's just plain old fashioned fun and makes me feel like a kid again every time I use it.

Having said that, I'm still and always will be a sealant fan. It's no longer true that you can only get that deep wet look with a wax. Sealants have come a long way.

Just curious, what is the difference with dodos "hard" and "soft" waxes? Is it as obvious as it sounds? Are there different benefits/downfalls with one from the other?

while I agree sealants have come incredibly far, and will probably surpass waxes on looks eventually although i imagine it'll be some sort of hybrid wax of nuba and man made, I disagreee, because I had jetseal and blackfire on the car and topped it with petes 53 before a mustang show, and it really did bring it to another level

iirc soft is softer and hard is harder lol, the harder is supposed to last slightly longer, other than that I'm not too sure

Dodo Juice waxes come in both soft and hard varieties, allowing you to choose the type of wax that suits you. Soft waxes can be applied by hand in a thicker layer, but hard waxes go on more thinly and evenly by applicator. Ultimately, the recipes are similar; it's the way they're made that's different.

Awesome, thnx Shawn. I'm now considering ordering the dodo sampler after sonics pix and hearing the positives about dodo. I really need to get off this forum, everytime someone says a positive about a product I feel the need to order it and try for myself...$$$

^^^Safety/Safeness in doing so?^^^:

-Is this wax product (that is said to contain 'orange oils') hypoallergenic?
-Aren't 'orange oils' mostly comprised of limonene/d-limonene?
1.) Irritants; Dissolves protective skin oils.
2.) Natural cleaners/cleansers
3.) [One of the nicest smelling oils found on Earth, though]

Perhaps one of this wax offering's purposes (In regards to #2 above):

-Since we're supposed to always "work clean"(<<M.P.); and, LSP-application
should be, (most assuredly!!), to a 'clean-surface'; what, then...
1.) Are the 'orange oils/d-limonene' 'cleaning'?
a. Vehicle surfaces?
b. Fingers/hands-applicators?

supernatural, diamond white and fantastic soft. I forgot which one it was, I have to do a test spot for all of them again, but one of them literally goes on like butter. Its very "oily" so to say and removes too damn easy. All three are awesome though.

For the darker paint on my fusion, sport blue, I used rainforest rub and got excellent result's. The smell is great too

I bought both the hard and soft. I did just what there website said to do. You can apply the hard wax first, as a base coat, like diamond white, then go over it with fantastic soft.

Are you getting results that are worth layering?
I'm not a big believer in layering waxes
I have rainforest rub now as well, wife picked up the straight 8 for me for Christmas lol, so it should be a solid Christmas

I doubt you'd find an answer like that outside of the dodo juice forum (as they're both new and quite expensive) just my 2c though
