SON1C Synopsis 47 : Dodo Juice - Rainforest Rub Review ->

Rainforest Rub is in my opinion Dodo Juice's staple wax, it goes in line best with their company and mascot. They have produced Rainforest Rub since Dodo Juice launched in 2007
Rainforest Rub 30 ml ( panel pot ) and 250 ml (full size pot) are a soft paste wax, durability claims of 2-3 months, smells of candy watermelon, and is green in color.

After several applications

Now onto the review er I mean Synopsis
Vehicle prepped with strip wash of chemical guys wash + gloss

Dried

and then the fun begins..

This wax is so user friendly, spreads easy, oily in a sense similar to many bouncer waxes, easy on, easy off
A+ in user experience and workability

Buffed off -> Some after shots

Rainforest Rub waxed section

Non waxed

If anyone ever wondered why my label is scuffed up

1996 Pacific Green Ford Mustang GT heavily modded
Edited shot from an application of BFWDPS and Rainforest Rub on the same mustang last year

Overall it's an awesome wax, I'd say for looks it didn't concentrate in terms of providing an ultra wet look, or super glossy, it enhanced the paintwork across the board in terms up depth, gloss, wetness, reflective, I would say it's very well rounded

If you're on the fence about trying a Dodo Juice wax you can't go wrong with this one, I'd recommend it :D

Thanks for viewing.

Wow , it s a Mustang wax ! lol Lovely results again . Puppy loves wax mate .

I feel the total opposite of this wax. I thought application was not smooth and didnt spread very well or far. it smelled like broccoli and wasnt a nice smell at all. i found it to be a very average wax that had nothing stand out about it.

Nice review, got me to wash my car and put a coat on, first time using a Dodo wax, I think I overloaded the applicator because 1.) it would NOT stop spreading 2.) areas where I first applied the applicator were more difficult to remove than areas that I hit last. Great wax though, pleasure to work with just off the smell alone.

Ahh so cute! I have a 9 month old red sesame.

If you're used to other more typical hard waxes it is definitely easy to over apply Dodo's "soft" waxes -- a little spreads pretty far with rain forest rub so a minor learning curve however glad you're enjoying it! the smell was definitely knocked out the park as well!

haha that's awesome, he/she's cute!

between yours and these we have a trio!

@sonic, didn't you buy the Golden Dodo Rainforest rub (I think that is what it is called, the one that has added sealant)

If so, would've like to see that and how it compares to the original

I did not sir, I'm very interested in that comparison as well -- I asked ray in the detailing today thread yesterday asking -- I might post a thread about it on the dodo forum as well

I have the Special edition. Used it. Love it. Smells awesome and easy on easy off. I don't have the original to compare to though.

Son1c I consider you a Dodo expert. Always enjoy your reviews, photography and now dogs (they are awesome)
