A sonic blue coyote we detailed the other day. Had swirls in the paint but only REALLY bad on the hood and rear decklid. Had the hood repainted and the dealership just compounded I guess...no polish step.

I used HD Cut with an orange LC pad, then Wolfgang TSR, Wolfgang Finish Glaze and Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, followed by a coat of P21S.

Ill let the results speak for themselves :)

that really is a nice color, has to be one of the best ford has put out

It is! But I'm partial to Blue Flame Metallic :) This is my newly purchased tow rig:

(this was the day I bought it...told the dealer DO NOT detail it! I'll get some better ones when its not overcast and rainy)

^^ This! I absolutely love it in the sun!! A good sealant base and a carnuba on top and it just drips!

Btw i realized I labeled this sonic blue when its actually deep impact.

That Sonic Blue looks amazing. I love the deeper blues like that. Such a rich looking color. That car looks great.

Isn't that actually called Deep Impact Blue? Sonic Blue was an older Blue they used I do believe.

That is Deep impact blue! I almost bought one last summer....still holding out for a 2015 in the same color.

Blue is my favourite colour.. so you can bet I love the finish on that mustang!

That's called Deep Impact Blue. Just like my '13 =)

Unfortunately mine came with a ton of DSSM, so having to do a lot of work to get it to that quality of finish!

Awesome job! That color looks great in the sun. I'm not a huge fan of blue cars, but that deep impact blue really looks nice all cleaned up.
