Well I decided to purchase the Sonus trim and motor kote to try on my line-x bedliner as it was starting to look rough (I use the bed frequently). My ordered arrived this evening :) Easy application spray on wipe in. Doesnt take much product to coat the surfaces. It also isnt sticky and does not leave any residue. Pictures speak for themselves. The test will be to see how it stands up in the rain. I have used other products and they washed away with the rain. This seems to be much better though.

(Note I didnt do under the toolbox as I need to vacuum that section out and didnt have time tonight).

Looks really good, keep us updated with the durability.

Thanks for the review. :xyxthumbs:

Did you to the bed coating yourself? I'm thinking about it...

Glad to know that bed liners can stay looking new with that Trim & Motor Kote.:xyxthumbs:

Gotta try this on my Ram. I have a bottle of Sonus Motor Kote but I could never get the hang of it. It always came up splotchy for me.

I'm subscribed, Ryan. Please update us on how it does handle rain. I've used several things on Line-X, Rhino and other lined beds and it's been a challenge.

Worse is the hard plastic bed in the 2005+ Tacomas. I'm hoping you have a solution that will cover scratches in those...

It's a line x I didn't do myself

Got some light rain today no runs took my hand and ran across and it did not feel greasy or get my hand dirty at all

Hey Ted,

I sprayed a Herculiner in my Dodge Dakota and it's sooooo much better than the plastic line from the factory. :props:

I use my truck for hauling allot of stuff so the only thing I do is hose it out....

I have used the new bed armor (duplicolor) for a hitch basket and that stuff is pretty nice.

I spray SpeedLiner and it works great... I want to ask if Motor Kote has any silicons or waxes in it...

This is from the autogeek site

Sonus Trim & Motor Kote is an easy-to-apply acrylic wax coating that protects textured plastic, rubber, cast aluminum, vinyl and paint. Designed for high temperature applications, Sonus Trim & Motor Kote withstands 240 to 280 degree temperatures for extended periods, making it the perfect wax coating for your engine, bed liner and other exposed black plastic trim.

Cool Bobby. I've been looking for some time now, and I may soon get that. The duplicolor with Kevlar looks cool, but I've not had any recommendations for the duplicolor. I will probably go Herculiner!

I'm curious, how has this held up for you over the last year? I just used it for the first time on my engine. Looks great.

It has held up well. It has needed some cleaning as I use the bed for a multitude of things so it doesnt stay all that clean.
