Didn’t need more MF but was on AG again to order a few things.... “hey let’s see whats new?”

Speedmaster has come out with their own line of MF and has an incredible sale

9 of their cloud 9 MF edgeless and 500gsm

From the site:

“The Speed Master Cloud 9 Microfiber Edgeless Plush Buffing Towel are a super soft, edgeless designed for many different detailing procedures. The Speed Master Cloud 9 Microfiber Edgeless Plush Buffing Towel is designed for buffing off waxes, sealants, quick detailers or even can be used for waterless washes.”

3 sublime coating removal towels

3 Master G compound and polish removal towels

Both are edgeless 350gsm

16oz of DP Microfiber restore.

All this for $27.85

Definitely a great package price. Gonna compare to the TrC EE and the 365gsm miner’s.

Doesn't say whether they are 70/30, 80/20 or 85/15. You get what you pay for. TRC are 70/30.

Always room for more MF’s. Curious to hear your thoughts when you get them.

Speed master products are usually rebranded products that work. In fact i don’t think i’ve read a bad review on a speed master product.

I’ve sent a email to Customer service though, asking that question.

I'm always leery when pertinent information is conspicuously absent. At any rate, that's a lot of towels and a bottle of detergent for $27. Hopefully they are worthy of paint and not just engine bay and dirty jobs duty.

What would life be like without my Speedmaster wheel brush? I don't to even want to think about it.

I understand where you are coming from with this quote--- BUT

Its not always true, and getting less true by the day

LOTS of people pay for quality and NEVER get it

Thanks for the heads up-I wouldn't pay their full price but with the reduction down to $27 plus 25% off its worth a go to me

So Autogeek customer care has no idea of polyester/polyamide only that their 500gsm.

Anyone know who we might message on forum? Mehgan maybe?

:iagree:

also...

LOTS of people pay a premium for a product of perceived high quality with mediocre longevity and inadequate customer service to back it.

Listed on site the cloud 9’s (500gsm) are 80/20. Will give mine a try soon with a rinseless

Already washed and tried mine out
I'm happy ( thats all that really counts anyways doesn't it? )

I’ve read alot of info on MF. Problem is that stated percentages on tags not always accurate. Lastly is it doesn’t indicate the quality of the yarn. A low quality material 70/30 from Korea could be worse than a high quality 80/20 from china.

Kinda like cotton sheets. A 300 thread count Egyptian cotton is better than 1000 thread count standard cotton. All about yarn quality.

And yes if you like them and no paint marring then numbers dont matter.
