Speedy prep surface towel

of the reviews on this product, this is the only review that remarked that the medium speedy towel does create VERY little micro swirls in dark paint. Better off with the fine Speedy prep towel

All of the clay towels and mitts create marring. Even the fine grade ones. No biggie if a correction is to follow. For decon followed by LSP, I always use fine clay so as not to mar the surface.

well, i had always used fine clay bars without thinking about it, but I did not recall reading about the micro swirl issue with the medium vs the fine.
but i should say, im a little crazy on the details as we are all. I liked that the reviewer gives it straight. he was honest.

I agree. I don't care what anybody says. The towels, sponges, whatever...cause micro marring that almost looks like flat spots in the paint. It corrects no problem with even a single step, but it's scary looking haha.

To me the marring kind of looks like a sheen over the clear with mainly the hills of the orange peel effected. I've had it happen with the fine grade mitt.

Some clears will marr no matter what you use. The medium does marr a lot more than the fine grade but is the boss when it comes to heavy contaminants.
