I thought it be cool to start a sub ground of the original thread the most over-rated products. Let's talk about spray waxes and which you think are over-rated and under-rated and why.

I'll go first

Under-rated-Flitz Waxx Speed wax- it works wonderful, but you don't seem to hear about it a lot.

Over-rated- DG aquawax It doesn't give me the slickness I like

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant. Awesome spray sealant but no one talks about it much.

I just applied the wgdg spritz sealant to my vinyl wrapped Sti yesterday! We'll sere how well it works and how long it lasts!

I usually use Megs Quik spray wax... No complaints with that! That's all i have used

I agree aqua-wax is a bit over rated but it does what its supposed to, and its cheap.

Anyhow ill add something. NVRWAX by Eyecandy.

Sent from my ADR6350 using AG Online

AW is meant to be used to aide in drying the car, the water being a catalyst in it's properties. Even when used alone, with the car dry, it's great. I've not used a better spray wax (AW I think is more sealant than wax).

XMT 360 spray wax is great stuff........smells great, easy to apply and buff off, lasts a long time for a spray, great beading and a deep glossy shine. Its a good deal when its on BOGO, or on sale. The only thing I dont like is the cheap spray bottle it comes in. I usually pour it in another bottle with a better sprayer.

Underrated: Blackfire Polymer Spray and WG Spritz.

Overrated: hmm haven't had bad experience with a hyped up spray wax.

Looks like no one has mentioned CG Hybrid V7. Its slickness and gloss is tough to beat. I also use Pinnacle crystal mist and Meg's UQW. I like them all for what they are.

Always hear great things about v7 I gotta try it soon.

The first one I ever used with the blackfire wet diamond polymer spray which I usually used after washing. I thought it worked well but I tried optimum spray wax for the first time last week and was blown away. Incredible appearance and feels like a sheet of ice! I can pretty much guarantee that it'll take a lot for me to switch to another type

I usually have stuck to the PBMG brands and Megs, but I did start using some CG products and very impressed. I still have not heard or read a bad review on V7. I will be trying this stuff in spring.

Some say they use it as stand alone protection too, so I am curious to try it out.

I've heard that durability is very low, but that application and gloss is very nice :)

Can't say V07 is underrated but it's pretty darn good

CG Ecosmart RU waterless wash leaves a wax behind easily buffed off nice feature guess I'd say it's underrated as I don't read much on it here.

Over rated? Dunno don't use many spray waxes

It might be just me but I can't stand optimum spray wax. It always streaks on me. I've tried every suggestion given.

V7 is amazing! Also Dodo Juice Red Tropical Mist another amazing one. Kinda expensive though

Megs UQW is very good. No streaking, nice shine and good slickness.

Also tried Megs gold class spray wax. Didn't like it as much. Found it difficult to work with, streaked, shine and slickness were average.

Looking to try DG aquawax and OCW
