I am looking for a fireman style hose sprayer I can use when I just don't feel like getting the pressure washer out or if its down for repair. I see the Nelson fireman style with the big handle on top seems to be popular. Who makes the best sprayer for the garden hose? Thanks for any replies!

they have the ones at wallmart in boththe garden and Auto section. not tried it as I cant see spending 20 bucks on one. I have the 7 dollar one that you put soap in also and it works retty good.

I have a cheap trigger type sprayer that works as good as I need it to. I think it would be crazy to spend $60 to buy a name brand fire hose. I have a shut off valve I put at the end of my hose so I can switch between pressure washer and trigger sprayer quickly without having to turn the water off which helps too.

I have the nelson with the red handle. One of the reasons it is so popular is it is under $10.00 at Sams.

Yes I bought a couple of the Gilmour metal ones years and years ago after dealing with cheap plastic ones and these things have just held up, definitely no special treatment by me, leave out side three seasons connected to the hose I replaced the washer on them after about 5 years but that's no big deal.

I found an Adam's nozzle in stock and I am giving it a try. It's the same nozzle on the fireman site and they want 98$ for it! I paid half that basically.

go to your local k-mart, big lots or o'reilly's. they carry the firehose nozzles and are made either by carrand or detailer's choice (pic below)and can be had for under $8. come to think of it, target may have their branded version of it too...

$60 for a nozzle???

You sir, have got $$ to seriously burn..

I was at Home Depot this morning picked up one for $6. Bought it for my garden not to wash the truck either. You can buy some nice MF for $54 you'll have left over..

Got the Adams nozzle in.. holy smokes it's night and day better than the cheapy firehose style from home depot I had. Amazing pressure and the dang thing can shoot like 60ft! The quality is insane and probably the lsat nozzle I will ever buy. Pricey up front but the cheap ones break on me every couple years anyways. This thing is SOLID. I had no idea a nozzle off a hose could do what this one does.
