Hope this is the right place for this.

I'm looking at the 6 pack of 8oz AG squeeze bottles, I have a question.

Are ounces marked off on the bottles (ie 1,2,3 etc..)?

My sister asked me to detail her car over the Christmas holiday and wants to reimburse me for product used (told her not to worry) and I have really know way of telling how much I'm using. I don't track per ounce usage for my own cars, because well, what's it really matter..

If not then you could get the measuring cups and measure an ounce out and then mark it yourself. I'd recommend the attach it measuring cups.

I just may have to do that.

The bottles are not marked.

Thanks.

For S&Gs I just figured per ounce cost on my stuff.

Lowest is Folex at $.14\ounce
Highest - Griots clay at $2.50\ounce

Dave...those measuring cups will be useful if you don't have some already.

I use measuring cups for a lot of stuff like APC and car wash

I don't have any of the little ones AG sells, but I do have some regular kitchen ones I use.

Like I said not that it matters for this job since I'm not planning on charging her anything but they look just plain useful! Plus it would be nice to get an idea of how much product I'm using since a couple neighbors have shown interest in me doing their cars.

I thought about going off weight. Weigh the bottle pre-detail then post detail, but I don't think that would be nearly as accurate.

If you told her not to worry, then just charge her a buck two-forty and be done with it.

I don't have the squeeze bottles yet but I plan on getting some. I need to order more of the measuring cups. I love those things...simple yet useful tools.

Oh dear lord!! I can't believe I did that, even after replying in this thread http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/44152-most-misspelled-word-forums.html

I hear ya, her saying that just got me thinking, that's all...
