Need some advice how to clean the rims and to see if possible removal of the stains. I think it was the shop when i took the car to have some maintenance done to my car might of spilled or etc on the rims. Its not really bad but i would like to see if possible protecting the rims from further problems. I would like to see if there is a way to keep it so break dust comes off easier and water spots.

Car 2011 328 i coupe

Also need following advice.
1. Leather cleaner and moisturizer. I used this past week Zanos leather cleaner and letter in a bottle and worked well. Is there something better?
2. Waxing for the car. The car paint feels ruff i think it some over spray of clear?? (car is used). I tried some polish compound in a small area and while it did smooth it out. I am not sure if there is something better ?? I dont want to harm the clear.
3. Seemed the old owner might of had some decals and one spot near the trunk there is a dark square spot. Can i even that out?

Thanks all!

Not sure what the spots are but try cleaning with basic wash soap and water first them maybe clay them using soap as the lubricant. From there you could step up to a dedicated wheel cleaner or diluted degreaser.

1. So many to choose from if what you have works well then stay with it, no need to switch.
2. I'm not a strictly wax type of guy but before you even get to that step the paint seems as if it needs to be decontaminated. This is probably why the paint feels so rough. Start with chemical decon, a good thorough wash followed by a iron removal, then claying . The iron removal is not absolutely necessary but I highly recommend it. From there then you can determine if polishing is need to further clean/correct you paint it should be clean just may need some correction (to fix minor swirls).
3. Claying could remove the residue

Is it on or in the paint?

Did you have any work done on the brakes? Brake fluid can discolor paint like that and a little bit of brake fluid goes a long ways. If you didn't you might want to get your brakes checked for leaks.

If it's brake or some type of hydraulic fluid, repainting may be your only option. If you mess with it too much you're just going to make a bigger opening in the paint, and keeping it waxed or sealed will help limit the spread of damage.

yeap I had my brakes changes. Can anyone suggest a good wax sealant for them. I am guessing water soap to clean but what to seal them?

I like Finish Kare 1000p, but that's because I'm non committal.

What did you have done with the brakes, pads, calipers, bleeding? First I'd suggest getting the wheels off and cleaning up the brakes and checking for leaks. If you're going to try to clean up the spots, blot don't rub and use dish soap or APC and lots of water.

I was getting brakes changed and brake sensors changed on a bmw 328I 2011
