Starting a website

Great idea!

If you are planning on designing and building it yourself try to dedicate A LOT of time for that purpose. I am no professional html guru and it took me hours and hours to get everything setup the way I wanted.

Also, start with a template. They are just so much easier to work with if you are new to web design.

Good luck!

I would contact you small business association. They have experience helping people grow their business. They most likely have small businesses that are starting out in web design and they can assist in making the connection. They will know how to do the code to make your site get hits. Hits equals business. You could possibly do a barter system. With the startup person. Make sure that you own the site and that the logos that are developed.

Make sure you have a gallery with before and afters. Spelling is key. Check everything.

I made a free facebook page and have been getting so much business off of it i have to turn stuff down. Its a cheaper option which is proven to work .

I made mine through web.com they offer design help, hosting and email. For one price. Check out my site. Took me a few days to design it. However it was a ton cheaper than hiring someone

Let me know what you tgink of my site. I love to hear feedback

I'm a detailer, not a web designer. So, I hired a web pro to build ours. Just launched it this past week and it's looking great. See for yourself:

I made mine at webs.com . I like them they are very easy to use and have alot of templates. Also there packages priced very good and run lots of sales on them. For a free site you can get 10 pages free and you just have to have webs.com at the end of you domain address to keep it free until you buy a domain address.

Hi everyone
Looking to start website any suggestion Feed back please

I used the free website builder...Intuit

It took me about 2 weeks to get it up and running but it looks nice and its free. You even get a domain email for your company. Check it out. Its simple to use also.

Weebly.com if you want to do it yourself. Just another option.

I am currently building my site as well. Should be up in the next few days. I have used go daddy for hosting along with their templates for helping me build the site. My site will be fairly basic with 5 pages but I think it will turn out perfect for what I am wanting.

I have the same state of mind. Take a lot of photos of your work for content for the site. but as far as actual design, leave it to a pro. link is in my sig

site immediately paid for itself and I get compliments pretty often from potential clients.
