Hello, Guys ! I need help picking product & supplies to start my detailing business. I have a few items so far from a barter deal I did on Craigslist around February. Here's what I have in my Arsenal so far.

I'm ready to pull the trigger today @ AG.
I have a $300 - $350 budget. So far I have this in my cart. Let me know what you guys think. any advice will be truly appreciated thanks in advance.

I see you're getting a porter cable, would sell that other buffer you have DA polishers are way safer. Your on the right track for the pads you've chosen.

Some other suggestions for products, Meg's All Purpose Cleaner Plus: great for all types of interior when diluted properly and very affordable.

Wax: Collinate 845, up to 5-6 months of protection with great results and I pretty much use on every wax job.

Clay & clay lube: Whatever floats your boat. Personally I use a generic clay from Amazon and Dodo Juice Clay Lube Concentrate diluted of course. (also great for getting windows clean and streak free)

Tire Dressing: Meg's Hyper Dressing

i am not a pro, but i would say do not use 3m polish or compound. unless ur clients want only temporary result.

today i was actually thinking of asking AG to take 3m off the shelf because they just costed me to redo many cars.

Thanks Guys ! I have clay bars. I do wish I had other polishes other then 3M.
3M is a little confusing to use,not user friendly to me. I was wondering it there a cheaper wax then PSS II Carnauba paste wax. That will give me sum what the same results.

Well yes your on the right track...This is a grat place for info and learning. I would recommend instead of the claybar...get the Nanoskin Cloth or 6in pad ( It can be used on a DA or done by hand with a velcro hand holder thingy..I use it both ways. The Nano Skin Autoscrubber is alot faster and works better then a claybar. If you are going to detail cars and if you drop your claybar on the ground...its done and you have to throw it away..wasted money in my opinion. With the Nanoskin Autoscrubber if you drop it on the ground...you just wash it off and go back to work. You can save yourself 1/2 or even more time decontaminating a cars paint with the Nanoskin over the claybar. I will never use a claybar again. Good luck in your venture...

I'm glad I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I will be adding that to my cart. And yes I've been learning on this site since February and will continue.
