Steam cleaner for detailing business

Hey guys I am planning on purchasing a steam cleaner for my detailing business and wanted to know if this steamer is a good choice please.

For business application I would recommend getting something much better. I have a Vapor Systems VX5000 and AG here sells some nice models made by Dupray.
 
I have a Vapamore MR-100 and want to upgrade. I don't think that MC-1275 will have enough power for pro use.
 
The McCulloch 1275 is a very serviceable entry level steamer.
I used one for over a year with heavy duty use before it cashed out.
It also comes with very good accessories as well.
They are typically much cheaper than the price you linked in your OP.
You should be able to find one in the $100 range.

If you are willing to spend close to $200, the McCulloch 1385 is hard to beat for the price.
The added water tank capacity, full compliment of accessories, and pressure regulator is hard to beat.
The 1385 is what I use now and highly recommend it.
 
I own the 1385 as well. It's a excellent addition to the arsenal and I highly recommend it as well. I clean the panels, carpet and seats even works great on leather seats. I noticed that I fade some panels sometimes. Mainly if it's plastic around the inside door handle where people put change etc. has anyone else had these issues at times?

I personally see no value in getting one of those.you will spend more time on a detail messing with that.2 good uses for that are engine cleaning or graphic removal.
 
I spent big money on the Dupray Hill Injection steam cleaner and really haven't put it to much use. It cleans interior surfaces really good, but it's not a huge time saving over just using an all purpose cleaner and towels. Its good for some spot cleaning, but I also have a small hand held one (forgot the name but is the yellow and gray one sold by autogeek) and that one was about 1/20th of the price I paid for the Dupray and spot cleans just as effectively. My 2000 Watt generator can't handle the 1600 running watts of the Dupray cleaner either.

I would recommend the handheld one from here just for spot cleaning. Its much smaller and slightly cheaper than that one you are looking at.
 
I ended up buying a vapor rino 230v. It's on it's way to me as we speak. My reason for buying it is that I detail exotic cars. There are a lot of places I just can't get into with APC and a towel. My most recent client has a matte white aventador Pirelli edition and you can't just use anything on the exterior which has a texture to it. I will let you guys know how it ends up working out for me. I spent $3,300 on it. I'm gonna use the heck out of it. I couldn't justify dropping 7-10k on a fortador steamer that weighs 600 pounds and only has 6 bars more of pressure.
