Sharif, owner of Forged Performance, had been wanting to get the STI fully done up since they got the first stage of the build on their new STI done. Finally got a chance to get up there and knock out his car. Was up there Wednesday and did some of the shop cars and employee's cars, so while I was there go the STI wash and cleaned up for today.
Got their this morning and started on the STI, car had the Dealer Installed Swirl package from when they first got it, plus some minor swirling from when they did Quick Detailer wipe downs at events with it. Luckly still nothing to major that couldnt be corrected. One thing I noticed is that the new Subaru paint is great to work with. Corrected very nicely and effortesly.
Foamed w/ CG Citrous Wash'n'Gloss
TBM w/ CG CW''n'G & Megs Hyper Wash
Rims w/ Diablo Wheel Gel
Windows w/ Stoners Invisible Glass
Clayed w/ Pinn. Ultra Poly Clay w/ ONR Lube
Taped w/ 3M Automotive Tape
Buffing Process:
IPA Wipe Down
M205 w/ LC Orange Pad via GG DA Speed 6-4
IPA Wipe Down
Menzerna Super Finish w/ LC Black & Gold via GG DA Speed 6-4
IPA Wipe Down
LSP w/ WGDGPS on the paint for just over an hour.
Before, washed waiting for Friday...
Friday, in the shop, clayed and ready to start buffing...
Paint after....
Inside after pictures, lighting was to perfect made the car look extremely glossy. Evne though two gloss steps were done and a thick coat of WGDGPS was applied for just over an hour. Wish it was sunny today though, would have made for some killer shots.
Outside...rather cloudy and I am not as good taking pictures in that low of light...
Then just some pictures of the vehicles from when I was up there Wednesday...
