I recently purchased my 98 expo and was thinking about detailing it myself. I don't know if you guys can see it from the pic but there is a sticker stripe that is going across the drivers door but not on the rear passenger door. The sticker residue is left on the door is there any way i can remove this without harming the paint. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys have

Wow, 3 sticker threads in a day... a search would be your friend. BUT just get some 3M adhesive remover or Goo Gone and go at it. If that doesn't work you can bump up to laquer thinner but try the others first. A hair dryer will help as well.

Now that I think about it an abrasive polish or clay may do the trick as well. I've used an abrasive polish (SSR2.5, etc) to remove adhesives from windows.

I took one off 97 or 98 f-150 company truck. I used a hair dryer to take the sticker off. The glue was another story, tried everything. Gas took care of it.

Both are highly recommended! I also use a heat gun on low heat to loosen it up a bit. Hope that helps?

Will Goo Gone mess up a Cobra MF towel if I choose to use that for applying it?
