Sticky gel in Fuzion

I'm really happy with the Wolfgang Fuzion wax, and I just received a new pot

But it somehow differs from the Fuzion I got earlier, under the lid, above the thin white foam there's a red jelly what looks like to be one of the ingredients of Fuzion.
Is this caused during overseas transport, or has it been placed there on purpose?

Two things....one, I believe on one side there is something "tacky" to keep the white seal on the top part or the container from falling off when opening, and it provides a somewhat better seal....

Two, waxes can "gas" and sometimes this happens. It hasn't compromised your pot, but try to keep it in room temp type temps to ensure a solid lifespan.

Don't know. That little but of gel was in mine as well. It works fine.
