[FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]Hi I have tried to brush in chips but I gave overfilled though smooth they are high. I don't have a powered polisher. Please can someone advise what to do. It is black and is the bonnet and has been buffed twice. Thanks in advance.[/FONT]

Do you or don't you have a buffer?

Depending on how high the fill is. Start with 1000-1500 then 2000 and finish with 3000.
You need to be very careful around the edges of the fill and not over sand the surrounding paint.
If the chip is small, you can use a sanding pen which will allow you to pin point the sanding and not over sand the edges.
Buff out and your done..easier said than done.
 
A safer way would be to use a razor blade to get the excess paint off from the repair. Then you can do a light sanding and polishing. Trying to sand a paint chip repair is very risky. It's increadibly easy to cut through the surrounding paint and I would not recommend you try.

Hum... I cannot recall where I saw the technique. What I can tell you is that it was a video on youtube. Try searching for paint chip repair and razor blade. I am sure you can find a few videos showing how to do it correctly.
