Hello Everyone,
I just bought my own place, With about 8 Car parking spots in the city.
The place is Kinda Half inside half outside... if you know what I mean.
There are walls, but no actual roof, the roof is like a Plastic cloth top that hides the cars from being in direct sunlight.

Now I live in a Country that every day the temperature goes Over 71F, but with strong Sunlight Goes up to 95F... :wow:
When the sun hits objects like a storage box with supply the box could go pretty high up...:(:(

My question is, how should I store all of my items?:confused::confused:
My paste waxes, liquid wax, sealants... and all my products? what would be the best solution? :help::help:

Would getting a Cheap Fridge and set it for 60F would be a good Idea? or just putting a locker with all the products in the shade do the trick? :dunno:

I am opening my business, And I just want to be sure...
Now I am cleaning the place and I am starting to place everything in order.

Thank you guys!

In the extreme temps (hot and cold) I move all of my supplies in doors for the most part... if you can get a cheap fridge and have it set at 60-70F then go for it, that would be best IMO... although if temps in the shade stay manageable at <80 degrees I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the help, But the problem is that sometimes the temp even goes to 90F on a regular sunny day.
and even the temp stays lower then 80F, I am sure that the tool box or locker I will be storing the products will capture the heat and make it even Hotter... Ouch.

If buying a Fridge is a good Idea, What products should I put inside? Should I keep only products like Paste wax and Liquid stuff?
Meaning Glazes, wax, sealants, conditioners goes in the fridge
and Should I be able to store "Water" Stuff outside with no harm? Like wheel cleaners, interior cleaners and stuff like that?

Thanks again!

Wax is obviously very temperature sensitive, however I typically err on the side of caution and move the vast majority of my products into a more controlled climate when needed... including water based products. If you have a lighter colored storage container I would imagine the products would not heat up above ambient temps inside of it as the material would reflect heat rather than absorb it... for instance, when I leave things in my trunk they are kept quite cool, even on Summer days.

Really? That's impressive !
I got a white car, and One time I left my phone ( Black Iphone ) For about 10 minutes, Came back and there was a warning showing on my phone, that the phone is too hot to function and needed to be cooled in order that it would work...

Guess there is only one way to find out, Need to buy a storage box or locker, and hope that it would be Super hot =/

Did you leave it in the trunk? or just in the car? My interior is stupid hot in the summer... but the trunk is noticeably cooler due to the lack of "green house effect" since there are no windows in the trunk.

Oh then I guess you're right, what would you recommend from the following:

1. Light Color Plastic storage locker/box etc... ( the one that you buy for your house ).
2. Light color Metal Locker/Box etc
3. Wood Locker/box etc...
4. Other? tell me which ?

What would you say?

Metal will be more conductive than plastic, but will also radiate heat better and be more sturdy. Plastic will be cheaper and will not be subject to corrosion in the future.

I probably wouldn't do wood... just because? No real reason I guess.

Either way, I would place any storage unit you get in the shade.
