Hey guys, i know i keep coming back with question after question, so here is another hahha.

So after i go through my wash, clay, polish, seal process, i have noticed that in direct sunlight or at certain angles, i kinda have these streaks in my paint. Good thing is, no swirls, no scratches, but these streaks from where it looks like i was wiping off the resident from the sealent with a cobra towel. Is there a good way from keeping that from happening. The car looks the greatest its ever been. Just those annoying little streaks. I thought maybe the problem was i just didnt wip off all the excess seal completely or i didnt wip it off enough. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

go back over it with a quick detailer should take care of streaks

Im not sure if i follow.did you say you tried to go back and wipe it off with a microfiber and the streak wouldnt go away??

I used to get that all the time from using too much polish. I would buff like crazy after polishing and it would still be there. Using QD immediately will help to remove it, but i've found that once it has been sitting there for a while, the only way to remove it was to start the process all over.

To make sure you have removed all the polish, do an IPA wipe down or use a paint cleaner prior to applying the wax or sealant.
It's an extra step, but your car will thank you for it.

Edit: Sorry, my posting was about having blotching in the paint. If it is streaked and not blotched then the sealant just wasn't wiped off completely or too much was used. QD should clean that right up.

Just when i have the lingo down in one forum , i have to re-learn it in another. Just for clarification, wat does QD mean.... quick detailer right?? and if so, can megz Show Time do the trick??

Yeah QD = Quick Detailer. I'm not sure what product your talking about, but either Megs QD or Ultimate QD should do the trick. If it is similar to those, it can't hurt to try, but if it is simply a spray wax without any cleaner, it probably wont do much.

Hey sorry bout that, i meant to say Mothers QD( its called Showtime and came with my clay bar), but like you said, it shouldnt hurt to try something like that. I appreciate the advice. I always had it in my head that if i QD'd something it wouldnt do anything, but im totally wrong , thank you guys
