It is a fact that Autogeek carries some of the best detailing products on the market and have created a fantastic name for themselves. In the past if customers show interest in a certain product line, Autogeek seems to try their best to carry that line to better serve its customers. It is impressive to see how much power AG has gained over the years with vendors- working with EZ Detail to create the Daytona wheel brush, Menzerna to get 16oz, and so on. Since there are few products on the market AG doesn't carry, why not see if AG could work together with the manufacturers to further improve their products? I can imagine if AGO members show enough interest in an improvement or additional product lines, AG will take note and try to serve the demand.

I think it would be beneficial to all if we AGO members could create a master list of product improvements for AG to read and pass along to the manufacturers. Even the most popular products on the market could use a tweak here and there, but if the manufacturers don't know it, how are they going to improve it? I do want to stress that this is not a product bash thread. Try to think of your favorite products and think of areas that need improvement. Even if the improvement may not be feasible today, a new technology may be available in the future. Once again, constructive feedback with a lot of detail would be best and most beneficial.

Feed back please

I'll start off ....

-I think any product manufacturer should experiment with anti-slip bottles ... like what baby shampoos are in; kind of rubbery -- this would be ideal in detailing, IMO
-A smaller BP for the Flex (for hook and loop pads)
-Reduce the height of grit guards, it requires a lot more water than needed, IMO (unless there has been a study revealing that this is the best height ...)
-Menzerna's 32oz nozzles can get clogged easily (esepcially Powergloss)
-Possibly adding vacuum attachments to AG lineups to fit wet-vacs and other vacuums
-Clay should be easy to knead and not crumble
-It would be nice if Edge or Lake Country would come out with a foam washing medium with a telescoping handle for SUVs, RVs, Boats, etc.
-MF towels don't need to have tags ...

That's a start, I'm sure I'll come up with more eventually.

-MF towels don't need to have tags ...

AG sells mf with stick on tags -- not sewn in. I suspect this is a legal thing: country of origin and composition.

-A smaller BP for the Flex (for hook and loop pads) - true that, we need it

I know, it sucks...
-Possibly adding vacuum attachments to AG lineups to fit wet-vacs and other vacuums...YES!
-Clay should be easy to knead and not crumble - Sonus Green, and Pinnacle green are easy to work with...
-It would be nice if Edge or Lake Country would come out with a foam washing medium with a telescoping handle for SUVs, RVs, Boats, etc...n/a
-MF towels don't need to have tags ..., I hate when they are sewn in...you rip it out, and you tear that towel...

stickers that are easy to remove...

Wipe On Walk Away Sealants that are not finicky and dont streak and offer lower durability versus their liquid counterparts.

I think Nanolex and Gtechniq sealants are doing that already (seen something like that on Detailingworld)...Expected durability 1-3 years...but have you seen the price tag on that, Scott??? 150 quid for a little (4 oz or less) bottle...I'm not ready to pay that much for a sealant yet...

I think this is a great idea--perhaps should have its own forum.

I think that we can offer invaluable feedback to the manufacturers,
distibutors, and AG.
