I need an exterior trim/rubber protectant that can withstand rain and last at least a week or so. It needs to be available for purchase in Bulk (1gal or bigger). If its a concentrate even better. Non-sticky & dry to the touch is best.

I've already tried PERL, and I like it very much but it really doesn't last through the rain that well.

Please help!

Meg's Hypershine is cost effective, looks good, but will only last through one rain. Meg's #40 should work well for you.

DG 253 is available by the case here. DG's site has the gallons. 253 will last a long time and many washings.

I've found hyper dressing at 2:1 lasted longer than all season dressing did. Strange but that's my experience.

I have used Wolfgang trim sealant and while the piece tag is up there a little bit goes a very long way. I have a small bottle and I still have it half full and I have use it on a few cars.

How about 303 AP? Durability is much better than hyper dressing and you can purchase gallons.

Thx guys,

RSurfer- Hyper dressing barely lasts a few days @ 1:1 if theres rain. And you know our side rains like everyday. =)

Ok I'm going to look into WG trim sealant, 303AP, and DG253

I have O-Bond tire gel, its OKAY but seems to attract dust&debris because its a little sticky. It also rains off fairly quickly in my experience.

The Cquartz is nice but too expensive. I'm looking at bulk for the purpose of low cost production type lower end detailing & washes.

My experience with DLux ended with impossible to remove water spotting. It does provide a durable coating as it required compound to get it off. I could not find a way to get rid of the spotting without removing it tho so I gave up on that product.

Hi-Temp Gloss It works pretty nice. I've tried to find other products so I can buy all of my stuff from one place, but keep going back to this one. My dad was out visiting over Thanksgiving, saw the results and had to take some home with him. I think I'm the only guy on here that uses Hi-Temp products. I wish there were others so I could get more comparison feedback. Would be cheaper than me having to try them all myself, plus second opinions are always nice.

303!!!

Hope you didn't miss my post :)

Nope didn't miss it, thanks. How long has an application lasted for you? And how much rain does your car get?

Its pretty pricey($110 for 128floz), more than PERL ($120ish for 169floz) except PERL can be diluted.

I was a hyper dressing guy until the price went thru the roof. I know ag does not sell this, but malco aqua bead, probably the best bulk wb dressing I have used at half the price!
