From the before photos I suspect this champion is a daily driver. Not that there's anything wrong driving such a legend but I would think one would take much better care of a $65,000 + automobile.

Shawn,

You have skilfully restored this mess to it's rightful place. The before and after photos really illustrate the level of effort and detail undertaken to really make this car sparkle. The blue finish looks dripping wet!!

Awesome work as always.

i like the vacuum lines on the carpets, very clever! though im LOVIN that transam in the back there.

Wowser...nice job Shawn. Looks like someone cleaned those pipes with a wire brush

Thanks guys ..... I used DP interior protectant on the black to get the color back and used Meguiars APC 10:1 to clean it.

Such a shame to let such a beautiful piece of engineering languish like that. Nice to see the results. Pat yourself on the back for this one. I am sure the pictures only tell part of the story, as it was probably worse than we can see.

You made that LeMans Blue C6 look like it was factory new. :props:

The effort you put into turning it around truly is worthy of much praise. I hope the owner appreciates your efforts. I do and I don't even own that beauty .

It looks beautiful now that you worked your magic! People are slobs! If I could afford that Vette, I would treat it much better than that guy!

Great job! It's a very nice color for sure!!

:props:

An amazing transformation Sully!

I'll bet the owner was pleased with the results. We all assume that anyone buying such a nice sporty car would keep up with the cleaning and detailing maintenance but this is not true.

Many of the people who can afford a car like this are either too busy to keep up with the cleaning or lack the time or interest to do so. Thus they find professionals like Sully to transform their cars back to like new condition.

Your right. I've seen those type of cars for sale at Carlisle. Be it a Corvette, GTO, Mustang, or any other desirable car you can tell by just looking which ones have been properly cared for and which ones have been neglected.

It makes a big difference when they are trying to sell these cars. As someone who has an eye for detail I can tell if a car has been taken care of or not and the cars that have been well maintained always sell for top dollar.

If you buy a car like the Corvette and cannot be bothered by the cleaning and detailing than you had better find find someone like Sully who can keep that car in pristine condition.

Great job!
What did you use on the interior to take care of that discoloration? Unless I missed it, I didn't see any interior products listed.

unfortunately this is quite common on the C6. The dash material turns abit of a milky white appearance if not cleaned and protected. It disappears quickly but can look quite gross when someone fails to at least wipe it down with a damp towel monthly.
