Cars to the garage.

Humans to the pool

At least we haven't gotten any of the monster dust storms yet, and it's June tomorrow.

I wouldn t be able to live there buddy ! Way too hpt for me .

I thought it was summer the beginning of May LOL!!!

I hate summers here... Makes it so hard to detail... Can't even wash a cash even if the sun has already set. Water will dry before you have a chance to dry the entire car LOL!

Do you have any other temp readings on different colors? It'll be interesting to see how that surface temperature changes when the ambient temps go 10F higher to 112F.

Yep , remember when I was a truck driver going to Dallas , hot in the Summer but no humidity like in the East Coast .

You re a Mopar guy right ! One of my cousin had a Plum Crazy 70 Road Runner back in the years , loved that beast ! lol

I will do the Wife's Van tomorrow it has already cooled down to 101.3 at 5:20pm. It is Desert Sand. I will do the work van also as it is White. I took these readings about 2:30pm.

Yes, the Blue is a Hemi GTX, Red is 383 roadrunner.

Yeah, but it's a dry heat. In other words you just shrivel into a prune.

Dave

You just have to find the right place to live. We're right in the middle of a 100 year old pecan grove.

Neighbor has a black Bronco with a cover on it. I had a clear spot on his lower door and read 150. If I could have a shot of the top I am sure it would be in the 165-170 range.

Just climatized. Lots of water and know where the shade is. 1:00pm 109. I grew up in Pa. for 18 years and went back for a visit a few years back. It was 95 with 80-95 percent humidity. I thought for sure I was going to die, I had forgot how miserable it was with the humidity that high. We will be coming into that when the monsoon starts with humidity and high temps. It's miserable. I want to be a snowbird pretty bad.

There used to be a sign in Tortilla Flats (3 building town up in the Superstition Mountains) that said:

Tortilla Flats, Arizona
30 Miles from Water
2 Feet from Hell

I remember that sign. I was a lot younger and the heat a LITTLE more tolerable. I truly do not know how people lived here before coolers and air conditioning. I feel like a wuss these days.
