I have a quick question for you guys. A buddy of mine spilled quite a bit of sunscreen on his leather seat and I'm wondering what would be best to get this out. Has anyone tackled this before? Any help would be much appreciated.

We get sunscreen on our seats all the time (active outdoors people). After coating with UIGP, usually a damp rag takes it off nicely. When I need some extra cleaning power, OPC 3:1 and a soft brush does the trick. How much sunscreen are you talking about? Hopefully he cleaned up as much as possible right away.

It was a lot of sunscreen, nearly a whole bottle. I tried last night using some warm soapy water, followed with Leatherique, but the spot is still there today.

Have you tried a dedicated leather cleaner ???

Is it a dark stain? Can you post pics? There are a few leather experts running around that you may want to PM. They are in one of the legendary OPC threads Mark started, I'll see if I can find them.

It is a dark stain. I have a pic, but I don't see the option to post it. I might not have enough posts yet to be able to post a pic yet...
