Pretty much the same. Even the commercials aren't that interesting anymore but I guess in comparison to the looney-tune days of the dot-com era, that's not a big surprise. Some of the commercials are out now:
 
Denver with healthy ankles!

It's even a little surprising how last week played out that they're not in it with broken ankles.

I'm sure the game will be decent enough, hype will be heavy, 1 decent commercial will be spoken about for a week, we'll have to hear constant whining about the half-time show (good or bad) and Monday will still be the heaviest "call-in-sick" day of the year.

I don't understand the way the game is played so not really interested plus it's a very slow game compared to AFL football.

I would watch if they took off the helmet and body armour and hit a little harder.
 
Well I'll admit that I'm going to watch and enjoy most of it. Not really into the half time show. I was stunned a couple years ago when the halftime show featured a bunch of dancers doing what they do on the hoods and trunks of a bunch of classic Chevy Impalas. Guess the owners of those cars knew what was going to happen ahead of time. Just didn't see the point of that and watching them abuse those beautiful classic cars gave me an I'll feeling.
There were some very good games in the playoffs. But my team got horribly in the first round.

I know Denver has done some stuff down there for the NFL. Maybe preseason one August? It could be years ago by now but I remember the dumb story on the news asking the players how they dealt with the long travel (in their chartered jet). In fact, I should go drop $20k on season tickets so they don't suffer again on long private fights.

Anybody near Las Vegas can go and watch the season opener for the NRL (National Rugby League). I think this is the third year they've started our season in Vegas, tickets are available from $29. My team is playing this year, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, but I won't be travelling over, I'm not sure they'd let me in.PSX_20260206_175833.jpg

Vegas has become very attractive for sports... getting hockey to the dessert makes me think you all will see NHL events down there soon. Matter of time.

No real reason to go to Vegas after about age 25 though unless you like gambling... or the bunny ranch
