SUPERBOWL PICK

That was a one sided boring game!
Well everyone is entitled to their opinion. It was a defensive masterpiece by Seattle. I'll bet those in the Pacific Northwest didn't think it was boring. It also showed that the New England offense is a little flawed.

There was 1/2 a game in Denver that proved that. Broncos had a chance with a backup QB while the D had a blast with NE until the snow ended any ball movement.

As a Broncos fan, I've got no empathy for the Patriots getting it handed it to them in a SB by Seattle. Been there, done that...

Question for the sports fans, sort of a fan psychology question.

If your team gets knocked out of the finals, do you then hate the team that knocked yours out, and hope they lose, or are you happy for that team to go on and win the Super Bowl/Grand Final?

I worked with a guy that would hate any team that beat his, especially in the finals. Whereas I sort of hope they go on to win the whole thing, thinking that my team was only knocked out by the top team. Unless it was the Melbourne Storm or Brisbane Broncos, those guys can go and suck eggs.

People who get that wrapped up in a sports team probably need psychological help.
My daughter lives in Brisbane and they're BIG FANS of the Broncos. Take back what you said or I will slap you into next week Jabroni!!!!!!! 😡

Deep hate for teams comes from rivalries or specific players in my life.

Matter of fact, didn't mind if THESE Patriots won with Vrabel and Maye. No reason to hate them. Hated the Bill B and Tom Brady years but can't deny the talent and chemistry they had. Sounds like Kraft will do his best to die leaving the franchise with a nice little Epstein files tie to it though... that won't help their popularity.

Grew up playing hockey in the 90s. Avs came in 1995 and took that Cup from Detroit, glorious. Hate the Red Wings to this day but doesn't matter much as Avs are good right now, Red Wings are mediocre.

I've always loved sports more for the management side. I don't care what sport it is but trade deadline day and free agency periods are fascinating to me in team building (don't know how/if that applies to all sports outside the US)
