Supreme 530 and Super plush junior

Is there a reason to have both of these towels (aside from having different colored towels for different purposes)? Or is the choice between them just personal preference?

On the microfiber chart they have the same uses listed.
 
The super plush towels are a little heavier than the 530's. I believe they are 640gsm vs 530gsm. I have both, and I use the 530's a lot more. However, I'm sure you would be satisfied with either
