has anyone noticed that
Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro
in the 8 and 160z bottles is the same product as the spray!
it IS NOT a gel.

I am not having any luck with the product.
It seems watery and gets totally absorbed by the tire
extremely mat finish

Anyone else have any experience with this product?Feed back please

i havnt tryed it but i have been very happy with pinnicle gel tire dressing. leaves a nice wet shine. very gel like and smells like fruity pebbles!!:o

It's my ALL TIME FAVORITE Tire dressing.

Make sure the tire is clean and use a new foam applicator. The finish is deep and black but not very shiney, exactly the way I like it.

Yes, some experience. The ease of use of the SC Tire Pro is great IMO. I'm another that would like to see a little more shine. Last week I added a gloss tire gel to SC in a spray bottle. It amped the shine up a little, but not much. It is more satin. I need to keep the experimenting going. The two products are still mixxed together a week later (no separation).

I always thought is was a water based liquid ....

your website lists it as a gel
that's why i bought it
i am disappointed

This poduct is not a gel and unless I am missing it I think you may be mistaken... I did not see the AG add to claim it was a gel

Taken from the AG site
Tire “gloss” is a confused concept. Gloss is something superficial and short-lived when it comes to tire dressings. Glossy tire dressings tend to attract dust and have no real benefit to the rubber.

That pretty much says it there.. it's not a glossy product...

This is a superb dressing and has great durability.. When you want the wheels to look great but not steal the show, this is the product for you..

being such an outstanding product you should have no problem trading/selling it.

We all get stuck with products we don't "like" every now and then, detailed research and questions prior to pulling the trigger is the best way to avoid this dillema

The No Gloss Finish That Shines.

Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro creates the fresh-from-the-factory look of dark, wet-looking tires. Its that wet, just-washed look but Beyond Black Tire Pro makes it last. This is more than a gloss; its tire protection and a classy, matte shine that lasts.

Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro is just the opposite. It produces a wet-looking shine that emanates from healthy, black rubber. There’s nothing superficial here. Beyond Black Tire Pro penetrates the rubber to create a lasting satin finish. This shine does not attract dust and it is never greasy. Your tires will look as good as they did when you drove the car home from the dealership.

The best way to describe the finish of Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro is to recall what tires look like when you’ve just washed them and rinsed them down. They’re clean, black, and wet. Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire
Pro mimics this look and maintains it for weeks.
That’s right, it lasts for weeks!

In addition to great looks, Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro protects the tires against UV degradation. UV rays cause the rubber to fade and dry out. By blocking out UV rays, Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro keeps the rubber flexible, supple, and black.

Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro is packaged in a squeeze bottle. After cleaning the tire with Beyond Steel Wheel Cleaner, wipe Beyond Black Tire Pro onto the tire in a thin coat. Use a cloth or a foam tire dressing applicator to spread the dressing into an even coat. Allow the tire to dry before driving to avoid sling-off. You can expect weeks of wet-looking, black tires.

There’s nothing like brand new tires to accent a clean, well-maintained vehicle. Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro recreates the look of new tires with a long-lasting satin shine.

8 oz. Gel

Ahhhh, gotcha.. down there at the bottom... didn't see that.

Why are you dead set on a gel... most gel tire dressings cause sling.. not good

You commented you were not happy because of the matte finish but reading the first text in your post it says it's matte

i did not get what was advertised
but i will live with it and try it out on diff tires

so far it does not impress me
it seems to get absorbed into the tires
unlike other dressings

All water based dressings do, they only give a nice matte sheen. Gels even water based ones are the way to go if your looking for the glossy look. Not sure where you confused Surf City for gel though as it doesn't say that unless I missed something?

I missed it at first too Surfer!

Wow thats odd, I thought it was like a normal water based dressing like Poorboys BB

What I'm confused by is why you went from Philsnyder in post #8 to Phillystyle in post #10, unless someone threadjacked you.

ss-truck I have seen SC Beyond Black do its best work with white letter tires because you get absolutely no puddling of product around the letters like you do with gels.

My SC Beyond Black is a pretty thin, water based liquid. The 8 oz. "GEL" on AG was a typo I believe.

It is one of my favorites and if it is soaking into the tire too much...maybe 2-3 applications will help...or use some other protectant as a base and then top it with SC?

I'm a big, big fan of the DP tire gel. I get no sling (the tires are usually done on Friday night and the cars get delivered on Sat) and the shine is not too glossy and it lasts. Very nice product, IMO...I used to use Megs Endurance.

Every product I have from Surf City Garage states on the back that if you are not satisfied with the product they will buy it back.
He obviously didnt read the bottle!
