Suzuki SX4

Had my sister on a visit, and while she and my wife was jabling inside, i went out to clean her car, i was only supose to give it a quick wash, but when that was done i just had to put a coat of Meguiars MG16 on it to se how it did on the metallic black.

The car is fairly new, and the paint looks good, so it was no need for any paint correction, i should have clayed it, but i didnt have the time.

Washing:

GritGuard
FoamGun w/DP extrem foam
Wool mitt
DuraGloss 901 shampo
Pricbort on lower panels (safe degreaser)

Wheels:
P21s wheel cleaner
Megs brush
and a old Megs Mitt

Dryed with the guzzler

MG#16
Polishing pal w/blue pad
Cobra MF

Others:

DuraGloss 271 on plastic
AA on tires and wells
NXT glass cleaner w/Cobra glass towel

I dont manage to be quick at anything so it took me about 3 hours from start to end..

As said, i was supose to just wash it, so i didnt take any before pics.

I did the whole car exept the roof, that stuff she got on there just scratch your hands up bad, so i didnt bother removing it.


The car looks good, and my wife realy want one of those 4by4s but:
I HATE all that plastic on the car, makes it a lot more work when detailing it, AND.....sisters and wifes dont PAY you. lol

LOL +1 Truls if you can get your hand on a Viking foam applicator if works awesome with #16. I use it specificly with #16 and is just a joy to use, it also allows you to just ever so slighly glide over the top so you lay down thin layers of wax.
