They finally fixed the community car care center here :awesome:. I can finally use the Megs NXT wash I've had for a while, but I still have 2 16 bottles of QEW and a 32oz bottle of ONR. I was finally able to vac up the car which it really needed :righton:. Oh happy day baby

Community car care center? That sounds interesting. What's it like? Is it run by a government agency?

DUH! I was thinking like a community garden or the like. An area set aside at the apartment makes more sense!

A community one would be such a cool idea. You could meet there will all your car friends, and meet new people and just have fun. Too bad around here, it would become a RICE meeting, but still a cool social idea.

Yeah, except that you would have to be waiting all the time to use the hose. :)

Don't you have car washes in your area with vacuums? Or gas stations with them for .50 cents or something? I used to live near a detail shop/car wash with a 4 bay car wash. They ALWAYS had a hose hooked up at the car wash so on Sunday when they were closed I would take my little bucket up there, park in one of the bays, run the hose and bada bing----washed my car the right way! Those were some VERY fast car washes!!! It worked great until I got busted by the owner stopping in one sunday:o He just laughed and told me I could use the hose anytime. Even offered to turn on one of the pressure wash hoses for me for as long as I needed it, so I never needed money for the high pressure! We've been buds ever since. He let me use their orbital whenever I needed it and sold me tire dressing by the gallons!! That was 15 years ago and he still owns it but I moved(in the same city)....now I have a house with a garage. He still lets me run my car through the "full service" for free sometimes!

The gas stations here are always busy for the most part, and just more of a inconvenience then anything.
