Broward County here .... we are still in the cone. I say bring her on, we need to fill Lake Ockeechobee and Id rather have a small one versus a big boy.

Sex wax - check
Surfboards - check

I'm prepared :D .... we get thunderstorms almost equal to tropical storms, like Scott said, will be nice for it to dump a bunch o' rain in Okeechobee.

Damn skippy. One cool thing about the graphics I put on here is they update on their own, so it stays current. Looks like the path has moved to Charlotte county area for landfall....I'm sure that will change frequently over the next couple days. Do realize though, that this is almost the same path Charley took in '04 and ended up having 150mph winds and 175mph gusts!! Needless to say, I'm going to watch this one closely.

ok. Charley was a lot more south in origination, but still...

from miami and to me it's just another storm and hope it drops alot of water over lake Okeechobee so it can finely fill up

Our moronic state will just dump it again and say ooops we let to much out....again  ...idiots, the way our canals and systems are now Okeechobee is not in danger of flooding, this isn't Belle Glade 1928

I wish a ton of luck to all in the projected path as we here in Mobile , al. know all to well about hurricanes . Try to be prepared and stay safe . If you need a place to store your detaing supplies during this let me know as I have plenty of room to keep them safe for you .

looks like Broward is now out of the cone ... guess its back to work tomorrow.

I'm in Jax so I'm sure I'll some a couple days of solid rain, maybe a few gusts of wind. Actually caught some 2-3 foot waves this afternoon that are from this storm.

I was right in the middle of the cone but now it's move a little more west. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

great.......now it looks like I'll be about 25 miles from the center on the right side when it might get to a Cat. 2......lovely:(

We all will know by monday night or tuesday morning for sure where it's going. Take care from the Tampa Bay area............

Hey Gary, how's the weather? :D

So far only light rain and wind. I talked to a friend who lives on Marathon about 5 pm and they were mostly getting heavy rain but the wind was not real bad. It could get a lot worse before it hits my area. I don't think it should be too bad but you never know. When hurricane Charlie hit within about an hour it went from a Cat 1 heading towards Tampa to a Cat 3 heading right at me.:(
